Participate in a Psychedelic Research Study
You are invited to participate in a study on the relationship between psychedelic experiences and health behaviour change.
This study is part of a Master's Dissertation in Transpersonal Psychology and has received ethics approval from Liverpool John Moores University / Alef Trust.

Have you ever experienced a health behaviour*change following a psychedelic experience?
This study intends to explore the experience of individuals who have noted significant health behaviour changes following a psychedelic experience to understand the potential psychological mechanisms of change behind those experiences.
*Examples of health behaviour change can include but are not limited to, changes in the following areas: physical activity; diet and nutrition; consumption of alcohol, tobacco, cannabis or caffeine; psychiatric medication use; time spent in nature; sleep time and/or quality; screen use during leisure time; etc

Why participate?
While participation in this study is voluntary and there is no monetary compensation, the interview may provide an opportunity to reflect upon your psychedelic experience and behavioural change.
In addition, insights gathered from this study will contribute to a large-scale project on the topic of health behaviour change and psychedelics, which is currently being conducted by a research team from the CIPERs research group at the Faculty of Human Kinetics (Lisbon University).
Gaining a deeper understanding of this topic could help individuals and psychedelic practitioners engage in or develop practices that could foster desired health behaviour change with the support of psychedelics.
